Bistro inside Gibsons Public Market run by Emelle’s Catering under chef-owner Mary Lee Newnham, best known locally for brunch — eggs Benedict, French toast, Reuben sandwiches, and salmon burgers get frequent mentions. There’s a deck with harbour views, and they run catering out of the same kitchen. The parent company closed its longtime Vancouver (Mount Pleasant) catering operation, but the Gibsons market bistro was still listed as operating by the market as of mid-2026.
