A personal guide to eating and drinking on the Sunshine Coast, BC — the stretch from the Langdale ferry up to Egmont and Pender Harbour. It currently tracks 132 places (108 of them open right now), with 22 on the recommended shortlist.

The map is the main way in: it opens on the recommended shortlist, and you can filter by town or type, search, or switch on “Show closed” and turn off “Recommended only” to browse everything. The full list groups every spot by community.

How the data works

This started as a first pass gathered from local directories and each place’s own site, so some details will be out of date or wrong — restaurants here open, close, and change hands often. Closed spots are kept on purpose (marked as such) rather than deleted. Ratings and first-hand reviews are being added over time.

Spotted an error, a closure, or somewhere missing? Corrections are very welcome.
