Halfmoon General

A general store that has anchored Halfmoon Bay since 1937, recently renovated and rebranded as Halfmoon General, with a café built in alongside the grocery and liquor shop. The café pours espresso and serves fresh-baked croissants, cinnamon buns, sandwiches like the Halfmoon Hero, and house-made soups, with beer and wine and a small patio looking out over the water by the government wharf. A rotating dinner service runs Thursday to Sunday afternoons/evenings. The old stand-alone Halfmoon Bay Café next door closed in 2020; this is now the food stop in the village.
